Happy Twelve

Happy New Year...Happy 2K12
It's time to get this *Twelve* party started!
The kids were quite dismayed that they were required to start back to school today; the secretary told Zach that they were the only school in the county to hit the classroom...everyone else gets to wait until tomorrow.  Oh the moaning and groaning...I'm glad that they're home and the wailing has ceased LOL
With 2012 come a lot of new adventures and opportunities.  I didn't really make a New Year's resolution, but I did set a crafty goal to get some of my artwork published :)  2011 held so many wonderful 'firsts' for me and I hope to continue on this year.

January brings a new challenge....
The theme for this month is...
Create any type of project (layout, card, altered, mini album, etc) that has a winter season theme to it. You can use whatever colors, patterns, etc you want but it must have a winter theme.
Remember that you must use at least 75% Imaginisce product on your project. You have until January 25th to have your entry uploaded to the link found here. When you visit the link you will also get a few ideas from the Design Team!

A partial introduction of the 2012 Design Team members will begin this week:
I hope you have a chance to stop by and say HELLO :)
I've said it once and I'll say it again...I {LOVE} this January Nook Kit!  So far I have created five cards...a couple for I Heart {Ippity} and the others for challenges that I'll be hosting at the Nook Blog on Wednesdays of this month.
We're running a special:  Join up for kits (any type of subscription) and receive a FREE December Kit!  This offer is good through January 10th or until supplies last.  The December Kit includes the fabulous PEPPERMINT line by Crate.
A few of the Design Team ladies will go live with a month-long crop beginning this Saturday, January 7th.
Prizes, challenges, techniques and tons of fun!
Weeeee!  I can't wait to show you the card that I made for this week's
Totally Terrific Thursday
I will be sharing my creations each and every Thursday on the blog
Please come on by!
Be back in a day or so...again, Happy New Year!

  1. Congrats on all your success in the past year! Here's hoping your wishes come true for 2012! All the best to you and yours.:)

♥A little about me♥  I'm currently designing for Doodlebug Design and Scrapbook Adhesives and have had the honor of serving on 20+ manufacturers or retailer  design teams over the years!  When I'm not working as a school administrative assistant, you can almost  always find me crafting cuteness for my Etsy Shop: Dot & Whimsy :) Aside from paper-crafting, I also enjoy making jewelry, cross-stitch, embroidery,  home decorating, reading and watching reality TV. But enough about little 'ole me...let's get on to the give-a-way!
With Valentine's Day right around the corner, I set out to find the perfect curation  of all things "red" and "love" in my stash.  The end result is this sweet ♥LOV…

Oh, December Daily, how do I love thee! **You should be arriving here from Rebecca Keppel's Blog**
I have quite a few photos to share, so I'll leave most of them in a  smaller size.  Just click on each one to enlarge.
My vision for the album was to mix 'n match  Handmade Holiday, SN@P and Year.O.Graphy I wanted bright colors mixed in with more shabby-distressed look that Simple Stories is known for.    For the cover, I took a bright Turquoise Dot SN@P paper and a strip from Year.O.Graphy and stitched them together.  The title is a compilation of  sevearl SN@P sticker elements.
