Well, I forced myself into going to 'town' today.  You know the trip.  Sam's Club, Wal Mart, local scrapbook store, Wally's party store, gas-up...oh yes...I got some new tires today too!  Ah, there's just something about the way a car drives with brand-spanking-new tread.  I pulled up at the school to get the kids and just knew everyone was staring at their beauty...well maybe not, but I surely do feel that they've brought sexy back to my SUV :)
Today was the last of the (almost) 48 hours of rain, drizzle, mist and downpours.  Thank goodness!  I have pictures that I need to take tomorrow.  I'm thinking that I need to spruce up The Red Robin over at is lacking in new things and I have so much to I'll try to get some of that done tomorrow as well.
Okay, onto my latest project for

A really quick notecard using the HELLO stamp from the
The notecard is actually from a set that I purchased from Wal-Mart...all ready scalloped with a colored border.  I simply stitched on a swatch of patterned paper and embellished...literally minutes.  I think that handmade gifts make the best gifts.  Why not take a few assorted notecards, add some stamping, a few embellies and then tie them up in a satin ribbon for gift giving!

You know what tomorrow is?!? That's right...time to draw a winner for the
I can't wait to award someone special with this really sweet kit :)
I will be adding like kits to The Red Robin in the days and weeks to be sure to bookmark or add it to your favorites if you would like to get in on some really great deals and unique stuffs!

Until we meet again, be blessed!

Beautiful Birthday Shaker Card

Hello and welcome to my contribution to the  SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES and HERO ARTS BLOG HOP

For my project, I have chosen to make this cute shaker birthday card!

Before we get started on the detail, here is a list of supplies that I've used: From Scrapbook Adhesives: Keepsakes Envelope Mix (I used 4" X 3.5") Extreme Double-Sided Tape 1/4 in, Dual Tip Glue Pen, Crafty Foam Tape Black and the E-Z Runner Grand Refillable Dispenser with E-Z Runner Grand Permanent Dots Refill.  From Hero Arts: Dress Up Stamp and Cut and Kelly's Flags Stamp & Cut
To begin, I added a few star sequins directly to the sticky part of the Keepsake Envelope.
Next I sprinkled some round sequins inside of the pocket.
I used the Extreme Double-Sided Tape 1/4" to close up the pocket.
I cut a piece of patterned paper the same size as the pocket and mounted it to the sticky back of the pocket.
After die-cutting the dress bottom from patterned paper, it was pleated along the score lines and then…
