Monday Give-A-Way & Blog Hop

Hello, Monday and Happy President's Day!
Time again for the
Monday Giveaway and Blog Hop
You should be here from Rose's Blog...if not, be sure to start there...and don't forget to stop by EAD and checkout what's up for grabs this week :)

I've had a plain mirror hanging above my fireplace mantel for awhile...I know that designers will tell you not to place a mirror over a fireplace because all you see in the reflection is the ceiling!  But, what's a girl to do when it's the only thing that you have that fits the space?
So I was eccstatic when I found this sweet vinyl...perfect for my mirror don't you think?
Instant artwork and very affordable too!
Your next stop in this hop is Lauren's Blog.

And remember, Stickerz and Rubons always ship free from EAD
Enjoy hopping and I'll see you all next Monday!

Beautiful Birthday Shaker Card

Hello and welcome to my contribution to the  SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES and HERO ARTS BLOG HOP

For my project, I have chosen to make this cute shaker birthday card!

Before we get started on the detail, here is a list of supplies that I've used: From Scrapbook Adhesives: Keepsakes Envelope Mix (I used 4" X 3.5") Extreme Double-Sided Tape 1/4 in, Dual Tip Glue Pen, Crafty Foam Tape Black and the E-Z Runner Grand Refillable Dispenser with E-Z Runner Grand Permanent Dots Refill.  From Hero Arts: Dress Up Stamp and Cut and Kelly's Flags Stamp & Cut
To begin, I added a few star sequins directly to the sticky part of the Keepsake Envelope.
Next I sprinkled some round sequins inside of the pocket.
I used the Extreme Double-Sided Tape 1/4" to close up the pocket.
I cut a piece of patterned paper the same size as the pocket and mounted it to the sticky back of the pocket.
After die-cutting the dress bottom from patterned paper, it was pleated along the score lines and then…
