EAD Blog Hop & Giveaway Day!

Monday, Monday...oh yes it is!
Time for another Monday of the
EAD BLOG HOP & GIVEAWAY

I'm first up today, so a big welcome!
Don't forget to start off at EAD Blog and see the beautiful
vinyl that will be given away this week.

Today...home decor.
My very favorite color in all of the whole wide world is
TURQUOISE
Yep, I love it.
Any shade...from a dusty blue to a bright turquoise...I love them all!
My craft room is done primarily (accent wise) in turquoise, pink and green.
I wanted a little 'something' to fill in the space between my sewing machine
and the light above it, so when I saw this Vinyl Wall Art at EAD, I knew
it would work perfectly.

And the best thing?  You can order from a plethora of colors!

Okay, now it's time to hop on over to our June Guest Designer, Donna ...
I know she has something amazing cooked up for us :)

Happy Hopping!

Beautiful Birthday Shaker Card

Hello and welcome to my contribution to the  SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES and HERO ARTS BLOG HOP

For my project, I have chosen to make this cute shaker birthday card!

Before we get started on the detail, here is a list of supplies that I've used: From Scrapbook Adhesives: Keepsakes Envelope Mix (I used 4" X 3.5") Extreme Double-Sided Tape 1/4 in, Dual Tip Glue Pen, Crafty Foam Tape Black and the E-Z Runner Grand Refillable Dispenser with E-Z Runner Grand Permanent Dots Refill.  From Hero Arts: Dress Up Stamp and Cut and Kelly's Flags Stamp & Cut
To begin, I added a few star sequins directly to the sticky part of the Keepsake Envelope.
Next I sprinkled some round sequins inside of the pocket.
I used the Extreme Double-Sided Tape 1/4" to close up the pocket.
I cut a piece of patterned paper the same size as the pocket and mounted it to the sticky back of the pocket.
After die-cutting the dress bottom from patterned paper, it was pleated along the score lines and then…
