Paper Issues Blog Hop

Good Afternoon!
Welcome to The Papered Cottage
Paper Issues Creative Team
You should be here from my talented friend, Jodi's Blog!
Just in case you missed it, be sure to stop by the Paper Issues Blog first
and leave a comment so that you'll be in the running for this cool prize
(compliments of Canvas Corp. and Paper Issues)
**To be able to win you must follow Paper Issues' Blog and Facebook Page**

For today's project, I've used three burlap banners, mini clothespins
and two different sizes of jute cord from Canvas Corp.

I used premade letters from K&CO to spell out USA and then embellished them
with glitter stars (K&CO) and star stick pins (Maya Road).
To create the pleated discs, I cut 2 x 12" strips, pleated them and then attached two
strips together to complete the circle.
To join the separate burlap banners together, I used a nice length of thick jute
cording (Canvas Corp); leaving enough of of a tail so that I could wrap
it around my wreath for attachment.
I also used a smaller jute cording (Canvas Corp) and looped the ends at the sides
of the bannerand attached with a small clothespins to the banner (Canvas Corp).
Finally, a couple of gingham bows were added...I love the country feel of this wreath
that will welcome my front-door visitors this summer :)

Here are a couple of other projects that I created awhile back for an
Imaginisce & Canvas Corp Blog Hop

I have quite a few photos to share, so I'll leave most of them in a  smaller size.  Just click on each one to enlarge.
My vision for the album was to mix 'n match  Handmade Holiday, SN@P and Year.O.Graphy I wanted bright colors mixed in with more shabby-distressed look that Simple Stories is known for.    For the cover, I took a bright Turquoise Dot SN@P paper and a strip from Year.O.Graphy and stitched them together.  The title is a compilation of  sevearl SN@P sticker elements.
