Dreaming of Snow in Summer

**If you are here for the Paper Haus Blog Hop, click here**

It's the last Monday of August
and I'm celebrating this
with a little bit of snow!

You should be arriving here from Rose's Blog, but don't miss
stopping by the EAD Blog to see what's up for grabs prize-wise today!
I just love this picture of Zach and Syd posing under the
Christmas tree on Christmas morning 2011.
There are no forced smiles, but true happiness
that only this special season can bring.

I've used various patterned papers by Jillibean Soup and loads of
these fun Snowflake Rub-ons by EAD.  I chose white for my snowflakes,
but you can pick from a wide variety of colors...I think light blue and a pale
pink would look so pretty too!

Now it's time to hop on over to the EAD Guest Designer, Angela's Blog
for even more fun inspiration :)
Have a wonderful week!

Beautiful Birthday Shaker Card

Hello and welcome to my contribution to the  SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES and HERO ARTS BLOG HOP

For my project, I have chosen to make this cute shaker birthday card!

Before we get started on the detail, here is a list of supplies that I've used: From Scrapbook Adhesives: Keepsakes Envelope Mix (I used 4" X 3.5") Extreme Double-Sided Tape 1/4 in, Dual Tip Glue Pen, Crafty Foam Tape Black and the E-Z Runner Grand Refillable Dispenser with E-Z Runner Grand Permanent Dots Refill.  From Hero Arts: Dress Up Stamp and Cut and Kelly's Flags Stamp & Cut
To begin, I added a few star sequins directly to the sticky part of the Keepsake Envelope.
Next I sprinkled some round sequins inside of the pocket.
I used the Extreme Double-Sided Tape 1/4" to close up the pocket.
I cut a piece of patterned paper the same size as the pocket and mounted it to the sticky back of the pocket.
After die-cutting the dress bottom from patterned paper, it was pleated along the score lines and then…
