A Thankful Setting

Join us for a week of fun at the
Authentique & Scrapbook Adhesives Blog Hop
(this is goood stuff)

**Come on over to the Authentique Blog and leave a comment**
we have paper to give away :)
I don't mean to gush, but  I LOVE 3L Scrapbook Adhesives.
I use them on literally every single project that I create.
Whether it be 3D Foam Squares, Dodz or adhesive tape,
I use it all and with the confidence that it will stay put :)
For today's project, I've combined all three of the above products and the
 very lovely Thankful by Authentique

A THANKFUL PLACE SETTING
First, I cut a piece of "Harvest" paper to 6x6 and thenrolled into a cone shape; glue.
For the leaves, I cut two different sizes for each one using
"Cultivate" paper and Cricut's A Child's Year.
I then layered the two together with both the thin and thick 3-D Foam Squares.
I love layering different shapes onto one another.
As you can see above,I punched a label shape from "Remember" paper,
distressed around theedges and then layered on top of the leaves.
Because the center of the label needed a little 'extra'
height, I doubled-up on two of the thick foam squares:
Next, I applied the beautiful cardstock sticker from the
"Thankful" Details 12x12 Sticker Sheet.  On both sides
I attached two buttons using 3L's Dodz (love).
A punched tag from (my very favorite!) "Pioneer" paper was
embellished with "Thankful" Elements 12x8 Stickers to spell out :M-O-M.
I used thin foam squares to attach each sticker letter to the tag.
In finishing, I tied it onto the cone with a bit of jute.

One other little thing to share.
In prepping for my place-setting, I cut a few extra leaves in practice.
I gathered them together and embellished a simple candle and candlestick
If you'll notice, the leaves have slits cut into them.
This is where I added the thicker foam squares...it helps to give it even more dimension!
In the other places I simply used the thin foam squares.
A simple circle punched from craft paper is topper with the elegant
"Thankful" Elements 12x8 Sticker.
Thankful + 3L= Beautiful Thanksgiving projects!

**You should be arriving here from Rebecca Keppel's Blog**
I have quite a few photos to share, so I'll leave most of them in a  smaller size.  Just click on each one to enlarge.
My vision for the album was to mix 'n match  Handmade Holiday, SN@P and Year.O.Graphy I wanted bright colors mixed in with more shabby-distressed look that Simple Stories is known for.    For the cover, I took a bright Turquoise Dot SN@P paper and a strip from Year.O.Graphy and stitched them together.  The title is a compilation of  sevearl SN@P sticker elements.
