Cardmaking Day, Part II

I'm backkkkk!
It's 3:00 PM CST on
and I have a challenge up at the
Unity Stamp Co Blog

First, let me announce these am-a-zing prizes:
Challenges began at 10:00 AM CST and each hour's challenge
has a prize value of $25 (in gift certificate form) so come on
over and get to cardmaking with us :)
And don't have until October 20th to complete them all!

My challenge for the day:
But, not just a border with a border stamp...that would be
toooo easy :)
Instead, create a border with any stamp other-than a border!

I made a border using the cloud stamp:
Silver Lining (Bella Blvd Itty Bitty)

As you can see, I stamped two clouds in a grey ink and
the other in a black ink.  After hand-cutting each one, I attached the
two grey clouds directly to the card and the black cloud
I attached with foam dots.
Patterned papers by chipboard accents by Bella Blvd.
1-Must use Unity stamps.
2-A new card must be made for each challenge.  Combining challenges are not allowed.
3-You may enter as many times as you like, but you may only win once.
4-Grand Prize - you must complete every Unity WCMD challenge for one entry.
AND a bonus entry if you complete the Kit of the Month Sketch and Unity Theme Challenges.

$1000 worth of prizes
HOURLY prize - $25 gift certificate to Unity (one winner for each challenge)
GRAND prize - A WHOLE year subscription to either KOM or SMAK winner's choice (2 winners)

- October 20th, 2012 at 11:59 pm (central)

There is a linky tool available on my actual challenge post
at the Unity Blog, so if you play along be sure to link up so you'll
have a chance at the prize!  I would so love one of my peeps to WIN :)

Okay, good friends!
I'm off to pour icing on my son's Texas Sheet Cake
and then head back out to our town's Octoberfest.
Have a TERRIFIC Saturday!

  1. What a super happy card! I love this Shellye!!

  2. This is so sweet! I adore the little scene, but mostly those clouds and the flair :D

With Valentine's Day right around the corner, I set out to find the perfect curation  of all things "red" and "love" in my stash.  The end result is this sweet ♥LOV…

Oh, December Daily, how do I love thee! Isn't this just the greatest idea, ever?  (scrapbooking wise, anyway) Welcome to my contribution to the  SIMPLE STORIES  DECEMBER DAILY BLOG HOP I'm so glad that you're joining us...I can't wait to hop around myself and see how the girls have decorated their SN@P Albums December Daily style :)
**You should be arriving here from Rebecca Keppel's Blog**
I have quite a few photos to share, so I'll leave most of them in a  smaller size.  Just click on each one to enlarge.
My vision for the album was to mix 'n match  Handmade Holiday, SN@P and Year.O.Graphy I wanted bright colors mixed in with more shabby-distressed look that Simple Stories is known for.    For the cover, I took a bright Turquoise Dot SN@P paper and a strip from Year.O.Graphy and stitched them together.  The title is a compilation of  sevearl SN@P sticker elements.
