Love My Tapes + Peaceful!

Yes, Thursday was a busy day!
I'm so crazy about this little mini that I made up for the
AUTHENTIQUE and LOVE MY TAPES BLOG HOP
(Click the logo to go to Authentique Blog :)

For my mini album, I started with  Authentique's Peaceful and
layers of Lace Dies by Lifestyle Crafts.  Although Peaceful
doesn't  have a hint of blue throughout the collection, I
added a mix of blue Washi Tape #001 by Love My Tapes,
as well as a few felt snowflakes from my stash...I think
that it turned out to be quite lovely!
I created the banner by folding strips of the washi over a length of baker's twine
and then trimmed the ends with pinking sheers.

I used a border of Washi Tape #383 (black/white chevron) on page 2 and
covered a chipboard bird (page 3) in the blue washi tape.

A couple of fun pages using Peaceful!  If you love snow and have lots of snow
to love, then you must have Peaceful...must :)

A little tab created with washi tape on page 6 and again,
borders of washi on page 7.
I love that mini albums are a canvas for special occasions
or events in your life!  I can just picture this one filled
with the first-snow-of-the-season photos!
Products Used:
Authentique: Festive- freeze, frost, cozy, chill and solitude papers;
Details 12x12 stickers; Elements 12x8 stickers.

**You should be arriving here from Rebecca Keppel's Blog**
I have quite a few photos to share, so I'll leave most of them in a  smaller size.  Just click on each one to enlarge.
My vision for the album was to mix 'n match  Handmade Holiday, SN@P and Year.O.Graphy I wanted bright colors mixed in with more shabby-distressed look that Simple Stories is known for.    For the cover, I took a bright Turquoise Dot SN@P paper and a strip from Year.O.Graphy and stitched them together.  The title is a compilation of  sevearl SN@P sticker elements.
