An Apple A Day

Autumn greetings in August!  Today I have an altered paper
mache apple box that I dressed in SEASONS: AUTUMN
by Authentique Paper
blog.authentiquepaper.com

I traced the box's bottom and top part of the lid onto the desired paper and cut out.
Use a thin layer of glue to attach the papers to the box.
A bone folder helps to form the paper when you come to the leaves and stem.

I found that it was easier to cover the side of the lid with trims rather than trying to attach paper.

I kept the design on the front simple by layering on frame stickers and sentiment.
Looking for flowers?  These paprika colored mulberry flowers by Petaloo match perfectly.  I tied on a corduroy button with jute string and also added a bow of the same
string to the cluster of flowers.

Authentique Product: Seasons:Autumn-  Components 6X12 Sticker Sheet;
Autumn Two Paper; Autumn Three Paper

Makes me ready for Fall and fresh apple pie!  Hope you've enjoyed!

Beautiful Birthday Shaker Card

Hello and welcome to my contribution to the  SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES and HERO ARTS BLOG HOP

For my project, I have chosen to make this cute shaker birthday card!

Before we get started on the detail, here is a list of supplies that I've used: From Scrapbook Adhesives: Keepsakes Envelope Mix (I used 4" X 3.5") Extreme Double-Sided Tape 1/4 in, Dual Tip Glue Pen, Crafty Foam Tape Black and the E-Z Runner Grand Refillable Dispenser with E-Z Runner Grand Permanent Dots Refill.  From Hero Arts: Dress Up Stamp and Cut and Kelly's Flags Stamp & Cut
To begin, I added a few star sequins directly to the sticky part of the Keepsake Envelope.
Next I sprinkled some round sequins inside of the pocket.
I used the Extreme Double-Sided Tape 1/4" to close up the pocket.
I cut a piece of patterned paper the same size as the pocket and mounted it to the sticky back of the pocket.
After die-cutting the dress bottom from patterned paper, it was pleated along the score lines and then…
