Personalized Desk Organizer

Although the end-of-school is here, I'm  looking forward to August when my new job as Administrative Assistant/Nurse begins! Of course I'm all ready thinking of ways to get my desk organized, so I picked up a cute wooden storage tray at my local Dollar General.  I will take in a lot of things such as  lunch money, notes, medicine, etc., so I thought it  would be a good idea to label some sections of the tray:
I've used a lighter woodgrain paper from the DCWV "Gilded Paper Stack"  and used my computer and printer to print off the words onto it.  The words were cut out to the width and height of the dividers.
Next, I placed the 9" Double-Sided Laminate into the Xyron Creative Station: Before closing the lid, just make sure that enough of the laminate has been sandwiched between the rollers as shown above.
When the lid is closed, you should see the end of the laminate between the rollers.
Next, the three sections of paper were placed onto the tray and rolled through.

Xyron & Deep Red Stamps Hop

Welcome, welcome to day number four of the  XYRON & DEEP RED STAMPS HOP!
I was so excited to receive my set of adorable stamps  from Deep Red.  I chose the "Little Cuties Thanks" rubber stamp set to create this sweet card:
After stamping the girl image onto white Neenah cardstock and coloring in  with Prismacolor pencils, I carefully cut her out from the paper.   Next, I chose various patterned papers from Echo Park Paper and used a fancy label die by Spellbinders:

To adhere the mats of patterned paper together, I used the Xyron Creative Station Lite and the 3" Permanent Adhesive.
Once I was ready to assemble the card base, the 5" Permanent Adhesive was placed back into the Creative Station Lite.

The sentiment was stamped onto a scrap of patterned paper and then die-cut with a heart shape.  I also used a couple of hot pink enamel dots to  complete the adorable card!
You could WIN a $25 Gift Certificate to Deep Red Sta…

Post Mother's Day Album

Happy be-lated Mother's Day to all of my crafty friends! I had the pleasure of crafting a very special mini album all about "mom" for WE R MEMORY KEEPERS
For the pages of the album I decided to use a couple of sizes of the envelope shape,
so I grabbed the 1-2-3 Punch Board and a few of the patterned papers from the  "Flower Girl" Collection. For the front and back covers, I selected the 7X7 card size and proceeded to cut, score  and assemble per the instructions on the punch board.  Note:I left the TOP flap  unscored on all of the pages.
For the four inner pages, I selected the 6X6 card size.

Next, I used the Cinch Book Binding Tool and activated the 3, 6 and 9 levers (this will
allow punches at these areas only).  All of the inner pages were punched at this setting.

Standard eyelets were placed in all of the punched holes and set with the Crop-A-Dile.

Moving on to the front/back covers, I went back and activated the levers 1-12 and  punched the sides of…
