Back-to-School Bookmarks

Hello, Tuesday-crafters! Back-to-school will be here soon enough so I thought I'd  whip up some cute laminated bookmarks to share at school :)
I've used one of my very favorite collections from Echo Park Paper, "Teacher's Pet" and the Xyron Creative Station Lite and Double-Sided Laminate.

I cut the "Bookmarks" paper into strips following the individual designs.   I used stickers from the collection to add a little extra decoration before I applied the laminate.
Next, I placed two of the 2" wide strips into the Creative Station Lite and ran them through:

After the laminate was applied to all of the bookmarks, I trimmed them out leaving a  1/8" border of laminate around the edges. I also added some eyelets and ribbon to the top of each.
Now I have a set of 12 sturdy, colorful bookmarks that can be placed in the school library... the kids will love them! Stop by the Xyron Facebook Page to see more ideas this  week using the fabulous Double-Sided Laminate!
