China's National Radio and Television Administration (NRTA) and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism on Thursday jointly introduced 38 culture and tourism-themed TV programs to boost the development of the sectors.
Produced in formats such as variety shows, documentaries and animations, the programs selected generally fall into three groups: the natural beauty of the country, cultural relics and heritage sites, and reality shows.
The NRTA said that this year it will regularly select excellent audio-visual works and launch promotion across both TV stations and the Internet.
