Brazilian forward Crysan netted a hat-trick to help Shandong Taishan trounce Nantong Zhiyun 3-1, marking the home team's third consecutive win in the Chinese Super League (CSL) here on Tuesday.
Shandong showed high morale at home, but it was Ye Daochi of Nantong that broke the deadlock in the 28th minute. Just about 5 minutes later, Crysan seized an opportunity in the box to tie the game.
As the interval, Crysan added another two goals in five minutes, setting the tone for the victory.
"Nantong is a very tough team, and we prepared a lot. I didn't achieve one hundred percent in the previous games this season, so I am happy with the hat-trick today," Crysan said after the game.
Also on Tuesday, Tianjin Jinmen Tiger missed multiple shots in the game against Beijing Guoan, which pocketed an 1-0 road victory with Cao Yongjing's goal.
