BEIJING, April 12 (Xinhua) -- Chinese authorities will launch a national awareness campaign on laws concerning national security on April 15, the country's National Security Education Day.
The campaign will be hosted by the Ministry of Justice and a national office to raise public awareness about the laws, according to an official statement released earlier this week.
The campaign will focus on the publicity of laws and regulations concerning national security in various forms, particularly through the internet, the statement said.
Websites, WeChat, Weibo and other social media platforms are encouraged to launch awareness programs on this topic. An online contest about legal knowledge concerning national security will also be hosted, according to the statement. ■
